Christmas Eve

I love Christmas time....but my favorite day in December is Christmas Eve.  We have several things we do every year during this time of year but we have had the same traditions on Christmas Eve since the girls were little.  David and I, even before we were married, were best friends.  We always went to the Christmas Eve service together with the girls.  I remember them being so young that they would fall asleep during the candlelight service, and we always have taco salad by candlelight too.  Yes, I know taco salad has nothing to do with Christ but it is great family time.  After dinner we always open one present which is PJ's. (I always tell the girls that we are not doing it anymore but we always do)  

We then go to the candlelight service and get home around 1am. 

 It is the best!!!

This year is no different.  The only difference is D and C do not fall asleep during the service.  We wake them up around 10:30PM and they don't go back to sleep until we get home.  

Yes, they are a little cranky the next day but i would not give it up for anything.

Staff Party

We always get together as a staff at Christmas.   We get along really good and our kids love hanging out too.  It's funny to many but we really do love each other.

the boys played together so good.  BA had some little men from her boys that D loved and eventually got all the boys to play with.

My friend Donna asked if we would come over so that Michaels daughter could practice her Mary Kay presentation on us.  A night out with the girls sounded fun so we went.  I picked up the Moody girls on my way there.  We laughed until my side hurt.  I love hanging out with Donna it is always lots of fun.

Darius' Christmas Party-part 5 the Movie

I love the movie "Charlie Brown Christmas".  We watch it every year around Christmas time.  I snapped lots of pictures during this time.  i tried to get D to take pictures with all his friends that came.  I had a great time hosting this party for him and will probably do it again next year.

i loved buying all the goodies the kids would use to make their gingerbread houses.  I thought they might have trouble making these but all the kids did a great job.

When D ask what I did at the Christmas parties and I told him we ate he told me that he wanted to have a party and eat food too.  We could not have a party without food.  We had lots of good food.
