I got a Ipad for an early Christmas present from my boss and I'm sad to report that I can blog on it but I can't post pictures to my blog.  I'm so sad about this finding.  I already started uploading all my pictures on to it before I realized that it does not allow me to upload pictures.  This is a very sad sad day.  Anyway... this is why I'm so far behind on my blogging.  I will catch up and post pictures from my reliable PC. 

  Last week David, me, and the kiddo's got a chance to get away for a few day.  We joined a friend and her family in Pogosa Springs.  I have never had the chance to see the trees in full color.  I can barely express in words how beautiful everything was.  

We had a wonderful relaxing time in Pogosa Springs.  I stayed in my PJ's one of the days until 1pm.  The kids enjoyed playing and I enjoyed my coffee and PJ's.  David got to go fishing with "D" and they actually caught a fish :)

Better late than never!!!

On Friday this is what it looked like outside our house.  Colorado weather never stops amazing me.  I love living here.   The kids enjoyed watching this 30 minute storm roll in and roll out.  

New Ipad

So this is just a test and if this had been an actually emergency ....anyway. I got a new Ipad. yep you heard me right a new Ipad. I'm so excited. This very blog is being brought to you from my new Ipad :)
I will update you more later, I'm going to try and put pictures on this new puppy and then Upload them on to my blog. We'll see how it goes!

Grandma and Grandpa's House

We went for a quick overnight trip to see David's parents why.....to pick up pig.  Yep you heard me right pig.  We went in with David's parents and sister and purchased a pig.  The pig was cured and ready to come to our freezer so off we went.  Darius and Cynthia absolutely love their Papa and Grandma and they just love hanging out with them.  They love our kids tons and I enjoy watching them love on them.  My kids are so blessed to have them in their lives.  

David's Dad is the Pastor of this First Baptist Church.  Darius was excited to see Papa's church.

David helped his dad with a few things at their house.  While they were on the roof, of the porch, I decided to get the kiddo's out of the way and take a walk. 

He wanted to hold his sister's hand so bad.  She really did not want to have much to do with him.

This little girl can make her momma's heart melt when she flashes one of those smiles.  

The kids had a great time at this small park down the street from the house.  I always love heading to Otis where you can walk around the small town and people wave to me when they see me and where no one would dare not speak when they see you.  Small towns do have their advantages :)

Cynthia and Eme

These are 2 cute girls.  Darius goes to preschool with Emebet and talks about her all the time.  After Bible Study on Wednesday I got to snap these pictures of the girls who just happen to have the same outfit.
