Listening is hard to do!

When God says that He will never leave me Boy is He telling the truth.  I have to be honest with you that in the past few day I have had to deal with some really hard things.  

In the past few weeks God has really been speaking to me about some areas of sin in my life.  

(Lets just say that it's almost been non stop whispering in my ear)

I always know that there is great growth when I listen but listening is the hard part.  

My husband and son left to go camping on Friday for a Father/Son camping trip and I believe God decided to have a Father/Daughter weekend.  God keep talking to me about a few areas in my life that He wanted me to change.  

Sin is so hard to deal with when it's staring me right in the face.  

By the end of the weekend I knew that I was going to have to do something really really hard....I was going to have to talk to my husband and tell him where I was falling very short.  

Its one thing for God to show you where you are falling short in your life, but when you have to go and talk about it with your spouse that is really hard.  

Sunday when my husband came home from camping I had to have a conversation with him about what God had been showing me.  I had to tell him about sins God had taken from the darkness and brought to light.  

It was a hard conversation but as normal My Man listened with sincerity and welcomed any help I might need.  He is awesome, I totally dig him.  

God is working on me.  God is showing me ways He can make me more like Him.  In order for me to do that I need to be refined.  Going through the fire is hard but what comes out on the other side is so much better.

Pray for me as God refines me and continues to show me areas he wants me to change.
